​Learn Calligraphy

Nottingham Calligraphers would love to help you start your calligraphic journey! 

We offer the following for anyone beginning calligraphy:
1)  A free introductory pack containing the basic equipment needed for calligraphy for complete beginners
2)  One-to-one tuition sessions on basic skills to build confidence for beginners prior to attending workshops
3)  Half-price cost for the first workshop attended.

Each year there are several workshops in the Nottingham Calligraphers' programme where previous calligraphy experience is not required - please contact us to find out more.​

​If you are interested in online learning, Janet Smith of Oakleaf Calligraphy runs courses in various styles.  She also offers teaching in a few locations (especially Anglesey, North Wales).
